The Nike Dunk High “Goldenrod” Gets Dressed in Satin
Inspired by the University of Iowa.
Nike seems to have struck gold with its recent retooling of its ubiquitous Dunk silhouette. With the likes of the Nike Dunk Low “UNLV Satin” and “Satin Green”, it seems the Beaverton-based brand will now be importing the new construction onto the Dunk High, dressed in a classic “Goldenrod” colorway.
Staying true to the original “Goldenrod” color scheme, inspired by the University of Iowa, this new Dunk High iteration sees the famed black-and-yellow color blocking applied on the sneaker. Jet black adorns the upper’s base and collar, while a striking “Goldenrod” hue comes over the overlays and outsole underfoot. As mentioned above, the entirety of the upper’s construction comes in a glossy satin material.
