Hello Kitty®︎” is a 5 apples tall figure who has always been known for her “kawaii” charm. Her adorable visuals have long captivated fans around the world as a Japanese cultural icon. In recent years, Hello Kitty® has also been used in collaborations with classic sneakers such as the “Instapump Fury” and “Suede”. Those collaborated models has been attracting women who love sneakers and their characters.

The collaboration between Nike and Hello Kitty began in 2004 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Hello Kitty’s birth, as former Nike CEO Mark Parker was a devotee of Japanese culture. The original plan was to sell 500 pairs in four different colorways, but in the end, only friends and family members were given them out. The Air Presto was used as the base, and Stephen Smith, who was working for Nike at the time, was involved in the production of the shoes. This time, the F&F collaborated model is appeared in general with different colors. The model to be released in 2022 will feature a blue-based upper with Hello Kitty’s face scattered across the upper. The iconic ribbon on the upper and heel cage also feature Hello Kitty’s face, making this a special model unlike any previous design. The sneaker box is also specially designed to attract the attention of “Nike” and “Hello Kitty®︎” fans around the world.
