Aries is a cult brand that fuses elements of streetwear and high fashion. They’re beloved for their comfort, satirical sense of humor, and their penchant for blurring fashion’s gender binary.

Thanks to @le.syndrome, we now have a first look at their collaboration with Clarks Originals, particularly their iconic Wallabee and Desert Trek shoes. The effort features both brands’ hallmarks with the Clarks canvas painted over with Aries’ design proclivities.

The Wallabee stays true to form with its shape largely undisturbed. The uniformity of its beige suede make allows for Aries to lay their signatures. They regal the pair with colorful beads, adjacent to a specially designed hangtag that features their “Smiley Toes” emblem. Its finished off with pink zig-zag prints on the midsole, with the same motif, Clarks’ hiker imprint on the outsoles.

The Desert Trek shoes arrive with a brown leather make, adorned with tonal tigerstripe hues. Its regaled with the same colorful matchup of beads on the eyestays along with the above-mentioned hangtag. Magenta dresses the entirety of its crepe soles.

Both shoes will be housed in a collab-specific shoebox. The Wallabee carries a US$220 price tag with the Desert Trek, US$230. Included in the pack also is a tie-dyed L/S t-shirt. They’re already available on Aries’ webstore so head over if you plan to get any of the pairs!
