“DOVER STREET MARKET” is a select store founded in 2004 by Rei Kawakubo, the designer of “COMME des GARCONS”. With six stores worldwide, including London, New York and Ginza. This store stocks high-end items from up-and-coming brands to maison brands, and from street to mode.

“New Balance”, which has been leading the sneaker scene in recent years, and “DOVER STREET MARKET” have teamed up to create a new color of a popular model. The base model is the “991,” which debuted in 2001 and celebrated the 40th anniversary of the 990 series this year. The high-quality suede and mesh upper was constructed by skilled craftsmen at a factory in England, resulting in a finish overflowing with craftsmanship. On new 991, a traditional gray-based color scheme is combined with a subdued beige for a casual look. The pair is equipped with some of the best technology, such as the ABZORB, which provides shock absorption, resilience, and outstanding comfort, and is visibly mounted on the front and back of the sole. The “DSM” text embroidered on the heel adds a special touch to the collaboration model.
