Prior to this week’s Spring 2023 drop, COOGI and Supreme are ready to release a collaborative collection of apparel and accessories. The partnership effortlessly fuses Supreme’s hallmarks with COOGI’s signature ’90s aesthetic.

Some of the latter’s most recognizable silhouettes are included in this joint collection, including trucker jackets, basketball jerseys, tees, shorts, jeans, and even ’90s-apropos durags. Each piece’s exterior is adorned with a distinctive mercerized wool weave, complemented with a tonal rendering of Supreme’s varsity logo typeface. Most notable would have to be the two trucker jackets: one in a stealthy black color and the other in a light-washed denim finish.

The Supreme x COOGI Spring 2023 collection will be released on Supreme’s website on 4 May with a release in Japan on the 6th.

Rappers like Biggie Smalls frequently made references to COOGI in their lyrics, and the Australian brand’s signature knitwear designs were widely-adored by the culturati of hip-hop’s “golden age”, particularly in New York.
