First Look: Jordan MVP “Black Royal”
Mixing elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7 and 8 into one MVP.
Jordan Brand has recently unveiled its latest model. Instead of something totally new and as per history, the Jumpman has instead chosen to create a hybrid silhouette that combines elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7, and 8. These were iconic silhouettes on their own that Michael Jordan himself wore during his first three-peat between 1991 to 1993.
The result? The Jordan MVP. Paying homage to His Airness’ early accomplishments, the shoe exemplifies its title in every essence of its construction. Most of its black upper comes in the form of nubuck, while hits of Royal Blue and white accentuate the through its side panel, midsole, collar, and heel.
While a release date has not been confirmed, Nike has released official imagery of the Jordan MVP and confirmed a US$165 price tag. You can take a look via the top slider above as we await more drop details.
