The “Air Jordan 3” was created in 1988 by Tinker Hatfield, the creator of the “Air Max 1,” which celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022. For the first time, signature details of Air Jordan series, such as the “Jumpman” and “Elephant Pattern” were created that would be passed down to future generations. Since then, the elephant pattern has become a symbol of both Nike and the AJ series, adorning such gems as the “Supreme x SB Dunk” and the “atmos x Air Max 1” collaboration models. Today, the AJ series is a top icon used exclusively by the Jordan Brand and adorns a variety of models, both old and new.

The “Air Jordan 1 Mid” boldly incorporates this pattern in its “Elephant Toe” colourway. The upper is a combination of moist suede and leather.
