Let’s rewind the clock to 2006. A young LeBron James was in the midst of his ascension into superstardom. The ‘Chosen One’ was in his third season as a Cleveland Cavalier. That year, he led the team to their first NBA Playoffs since 1998, and he himself was also named the NBA All-Star Game MVP.

Off the court, 2006 was also a special year for both The King and Nike. In November, the duo hosted a special pop-up in SoHo, New York, where a special sneaker donned by LeBron himself was set to release. 250 pairs of the OG Nike LeBron 4 “Graffiti” was released to the public and never again, making it one of the hardest sneakers to come by if you’re a LeBron fan.

If you’ve been dying to get a pair, here’s your chance. Nearly 17 years later, the Beaverton-based brand has reportedly decided to re-release the Nike LeBron 4 “Graffiti” on a GR scale, currently slated for the Holiday 2023 season.

As reported by Sole Retriever, the 2023 rendition will carry most, if not all, of the OG silhouette’s design elements. The Foamposite-like construction comes split between a clean white fitting and the iconic graffiti-inspired graphic.

The tip of the tongue comes embossed with a metallic crown fit for The King, while the rest of the collar is wrapped in a black, giving ample room for the white Swooshes to glow. University Red finishes off the design, taking on the inner lining and trim of the outsole and heel.

The Nike LeBron 4 “Graffiti” is set to release in the Holiday 2023 season on Nike and select retailers, at a RRP of US$240. Stay tuned as we’ll bring you official information about this pair’s release as soon as we get them.
