Known for their incredible service and undeniable ubiquity, they are an essential part of daily life. Nike is paying homage to this distinct facet of Japanese life with a clever tribute pack across two colorways of the legendary Air Max 95. While it may not be an official collaboration, the colors serve as a stylish nod to two of Japan’s most description-defying convini chains, and the pack is expected to draw major attention from sneakerheads globally.

About Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Sport Green/Safety Orange” & “Blue Sapphire/Metallic Silver”

The pack consists of two distinct colorways, both built on the “Big Bubble” platform, which features the larger, 1990s-original-style Air unit for a boost of both heritage and comfort.

The first colorway, a playful salute to that iconic convenience store we all know in Japan, utilizes a palette of Sail, Metallic Silver, Total Orange, Sport Green, Gym Red, and Light British Tan. The multi-paneled upper is meticulously layered to recreate the deep green, bright red, and orange stripes of that famous storefront, giving the Air Max 95’s signature design a colorful twist.

The second colorway serves as a vibe check on other common convenience store signage. Combining White, Metallic Silver, Blue Sapphire, Light Smoke Gray, and Action Red, the clean gradient on the upper is reminiscent of the classic white, blue, and red color schemes seen across town.
