A Masterclass in Hybrid Design: CLOT Reimagines the Mundial and Samba

adidas Originals and CLOT, the pioneering streetwear brand headed by Edison Chen, are set to drop their latest collaborative collection. This time around, the duo takes the Mundial—a silhouette with deep roots in performance football—and the iconic Samba, reconstructing two of the Three Stripes’ legendary silhouettes through a lens of premium craftsmanship.

About CLOT x adidas Originals Mundial / Samba

The Mundial features a premium leather upper elevated by the inclusion of raffia materials on the signature Three Stripes. Intricate CLOT logo stitching on the toe box adds a curated, artisanal feel to the overall aesthetic. On the other hand, the Samba delivers a more polished look, utilizing the sleek contrast between its suede toe cap and smooth leather body.

A standout feature shared by both models is the espadrille-style braiding that wraps the midsole, sitting atop a classic rubber outsole. Utilizing a cold cement construction, these kicks offer enhanced stability and long-lasting comfort for the city streets.

The official release is scheduled for 2nd May 2026(JST).
