A Fusion of Heavy Metal and Classic Skate Culture

This exclusive project, launched through ABC-MART (Japan’s footwear retailer), embodies the group’s intense worldview. The collection is drenched in a “Metal” colorway, utilizing a stark contrast of jet black and crimson red. It’s a bold statement that captures the energy of the duo known for electrifying stages worldwide.

About BABYMETAL x Vans Collection

This collection isn’t just a simple recolour; it’s packed with details that pay homage to the group’s lore.

Across all three models, the designs feature the group’s signature red and black palette. A standout feature is the foxing tape (the rubber edge of the sole), which displays the text “BABYMETAL DEATH.” This phrase is not only a nod to one of their most famous tracks but also serves as their iconic introduction, adding a serious edge to the sneaker’s profile.

Each silhouette offers a unique detail for the fans:

・The Slip-On: Features the band’s jagged “Brutal Logo” front and center.

・The Sk8-Hi: Showcases a vivid graphic of the “Fox,” a central figure in BABYMETAL’s mythology.

・The Old Skool: Comes equipped with custom laces printed with the logo, adding a subtle yet distinct flair.

In addition to the footwear, an apparel line has also dropped, allowing fans to style a complete head-to-toe look. Whether you are a die-hard member of “The One” fandom or a sneakerhead looking for a pair with a dark, effortless edge, this collection is a must-cop. While it’s a celebration of their 15-year journey, the aesthetic is timelessly cool, making these kicks a solid addition to any rotation.
