Tech Giant Meets Heritage Craftsmanship in Surprise Drop

This partnership marks the 6th installment of Yoshida Kaban’s (PORTER’s parent company) 90th Anniversary project. Under the theme of “Carrying Sound,” the collaboration fuses high-tech audio with expert luggage craftsmanship. The collection is extremely exclusive, limited to just 380 sets worldwide.

The set features the “Dyson OnTrac,” Dyson’s first high-fidelity audio-only headphones, paired with a custom PORTER shoulder bag designed specifically to house them.

The headphones themselves showcase exclusive details, including the PORTER logo engraved on the outer caps. They come with custom ear cushions in “Orange” and “Khaki”—a nod to PORTER’s iconic color palette inspired by MA-1 bomber jackets.

The accompanying shoulder bag is based on a classic PORTER silhouette but has been re-engineered with a unique storage system that allows the headphones to be mounted directly onto the bag. The attention to detail is meticulous: the zipper tape colors were supervised by Jake Dyson, Dyson’s Chief Engineer. Additionally, the bag utilizes the “CARRYING EQUIPMENT STRAP,” a patented technology that allows for smooth, one-action adjustment.

By combining Dyson’s engineering precision with PORTER’s functional beauty, this release offers a sophisticated solution for audiophiles on the move.
