TOGA, founded by Yasuko Furuta in 1997, has long been a pillar of Japanese fashion, cementing its status with the opening of its “TOGA AOYAMA” flagship store in Tokyo last March. Now, they bring their unique design language to one of Asics’ celebrated silhouettes.

The collaboration reimagines the Gel-Cumulus 16, a performance running shoe originally released in 2014 and praised for its long-distance capabilities, as a modern lifestyle sneaker. TOGA infuses its signature aesthetic by adding distinctive metal conchos, a recurring motif in the brand’s collections. The design is further elevated with a unique double shoelace system, creating a special visual that sets it apart from Asics’ standard inline models. The collection is expected to launch in three unique colorways, each with its own character.
