This collaboration introduces a refined new vision for the Speedcat, a silhouette that first made waves in 1999. Originally based on F1 racing footwear, the Speedcat’s streamlined, aerodynamic profile quickly earned it a permanent spot in the pantheon of fashion and sneaker culture.

For this release, Graphpaper—the Tokyo-based label founded by creative director Takayuki Minami and celebrated for its meticulous, high-quality approach to everyday wear—lends its signature minimalist aesthetic to the sneaker. The project utilizes the Speedcat Plus model, which features a clean, streamlined upper with concealed eyelets. The design is a masterclass in texture, constructed from a trio of premium materials: smooth leather, short-haired suede, and rich nubuck.

In a move characteristic of Graphpaper’s design philosophy, the entire shoe is rendered in a single, unified “Greige” colorway. Every component, from the upper and sole to the fine embroidery, adheres to this monochromatic scheme. The result is a highly versatile and effortlessly chic sneaker, engineered to seamlessly integrate into any fall/winter wardrobe.
