The sneaker itself features a clean, athletic aesthetic. The design is built on a cream-colored mesh base, which is accented by overlays in “Smoke Grey” and “Pure Silver”. Dark black paneling provides contrast, while subtle red branding and midsole details add a touch of color. The shoe also includes ASICS’s signature cushioning technology for comfort.

This collaboration is part of James Whitner’s broader vision for Social Status, which seeks to expand sneaker culture into a lifestyle that prioritizes wellness. The Social Status x ASICS GEL-1130 “Smoke Grey/Pure Silver” will retail for US$100. Entry for the wellness challenge is open now through a raffle via Social Status.
