About the Kiko Kostadinov x Beats Pill

For this collaboration, the Bulgarian-born, London-based designer drew inspiration from the intricate geometry found in ancient Thracian iconography. These patterns, long steeped in symbolism, transform the Beats Pill’s custom grill into a canvas of heritage—where every shape carries echoes of the past. The body is rendered in Kostadinov’s signature Kiko Gray—a cool, neutral shade that speaks to utility yet retains an understated elegance.

Completing the design is a colorful braided lanyard, a nod to protective charms and ceremonial threads found in Bulgarian folklore. Much like the talismans that would be passed down through generations, it’s an emblem of connection—between history and the present, craft and technology, sound and meaning.
