Seventeen years after Ronnie Fieg penned his first adidas masterpiece, the original Kith “Black Tie” Superstar, the New York visionary returns to both his roots and the future. This time, the icon is reborn as the “Black Tie 2.0”—a made-in-Germany special with elevated aspirations.

Crafted from premium dress-shoe grade leather and accented with waxed laces, the Superstar feature refined stitching at the toecap and a timeless palette of inky black and crisp white. Discreet branding glimmers from the footbed and tongue, nodding to Kith’s sartorial evolution and Fieg’s custom approach to even the subtlest details.

The signature triple black leather toecap is an ode to those who dare combine street with suiting. True to its legacy, the “Black Tie 2.0” Superstar is also packaged with a matching black tie, echoing the thoughtful touch that made the 2008 release unforgettable and original.

For friends and family, Fieg’s vision extends into a bespoke package: imagine opening a box containing a Julius double-breasted jacket and Kylan trousers, the Italian 100% tropical wool softly shimmering with tone-on-tone Three Stripes appliqué, complemented by a dress shirt and that all-important tie.

Release Details

All of this will be unveiled on 17 August, at the “INSTITUTION” runway event—Kith’s first such spectacle in six years. Only limited pairs of the “Black Tie 2.0” will hit select retailers and Kith flagships—stay tuned for further details.
