According to multiple reports, including exclusive insights from Romania’s Sneaker Market, the upcoming pack is set to feature three colorways: “Black”, “Summit White”, and “Silt Red”. Yes, the Air Force 1’s signature all-leather construction has been reimagined and reworked over its long history; nonetheless, this collaboration pushes the envelope by mixing tumbled leather with fabric on the upper, stepping away from the model’s traditional feel.

The highlight of the collaboration, of course, is the introduction of Vibram’s high-performance rubber outsoles, instantly recognizable by Vibram’s signature yellow branding positioned just beneath the Air script on the midsole.

This pivot follows the strategic shifts announced by Nike CEO Elliott Hill. Recent earnings calls and public statements signal Nike’s intention to move away from overreliance on perennial franchises such as the Air Force 1 Low, in favor of reigniting innovation and storytelling across key “fields of play”.

Even with this new direction, 2025 has seen an influx of fresh takes and collaborations on Bruce Kilgore’s magnum opus, with the Vibram release proving that Nike isn’t ready to retire its icons just yet.
