For the second consecutive Pokémon TCG expansion set, a new rarity will be introduced. Dual set Mega Brave [M1L] / Mega Symphonia [M1S] will include the Mega Ultra Rare (MUR) rarity.
In Mega Brave [M1L] and Mega Symphonia [M1S], MUR cards will replace Ultra Rare (UR) cards. Like UR cards, they will have a layer of gold holofoil covering them. The only difference lies in the fact that MUR cards feature Mega-Evolved Pokémon, hence the name of the rarity.
Thus far, two MUR cards have been confirmed: Mega Lucario ex in Mega Brave [M1L] and Mega Gardevoir ex in Mega Symphonia [M1S]—the set’s two headliners.
