Nike Basketball appears to be regaining its momentum, largely due to a refreshed approach to its designs. A prime example of this resurgence is Ja Morant’s new signature shoe, the Nike Ja 3. While the “NYvsNY” colorway recently launched, numerous other color schemes have been appearing online, including one tailored for Memphis Grizzlies fans.

About the Nike Ja 3 “Grizzlies”

Images of these new colorways have circulated, with Ja Morant himself reportedly “leaking” ten different Ja 3 colorways on Instagram. These detailed visuals provide a comprehensive look at the shoe. The Nike Ja 3 “Grizzlies” features a turbo green engineered mesh base on the upper.

Raised TPU reinforcements create a scratch pattern, incorporating miniature “Ja” logos. These reinforcements are predominantly black on the upper, with the “A” in Ja’s name appearing in turbo green on the midfoot. The Nike Swoosh is rendered in university red with a white outline, forming the “J” of his first name.

Further university red accents are visible on the inner Swoosh, complementing the “TWELVE” text on the heel. The asymmetrical tongue showcases a contrasting brown Ja logo, while the laces, sockliner, and tongue itself are all in turbo green.

The design is completed with a black and clear rubber midsole, which also features raised “JA” logos integrated into the traction pattern. For cushioning, the shoe incorporates a full-length ZoomX setup.

Release Details

The Nike Ja 3 “Grizzlies” is scheduled for release on 5 November at Nike and other select retailers online and in stores. It will be available for US$125.
