Nike is set to reignite sneaker fever this Summer 2026 with the long-awaited return of one of its most electrifying Air Max 95 colorways: the OG “Comet”.

Original ’95 release

For the 2026 reissue, Nike doubles down on authenticity with the iconic Big Bubble Air unit restored to its original glory, promising to bring back the signature visible cushioning that defined the model.

The upper is expected to be crafted from premium suede, featuring the classic layered gradient in white, neutral and medium greys, and the fiery pop of Comet Red that accents both the upper and sole unit.

Notably, this release is rumored to reinstate the PSI markings on the Air bubble, a detail that true collectors know sets the OG apart from previous retros.

Release Details

Retailing at US$200, the Air Max 95 OG “Comet” will be available at select retailers and SNKRS, continuing Nike’s countdown of launching reissues of their early ’90s Air Max colorways. Stay tuned for further updates.
