ASICS is set to release a new colorway for its GT-2160 model, named “Restful Teal/Blue Teal,” which evokes a distinct aquatic aesthetic. This iteration seamlessly merges the shoe’s classic running silhouette with cool, water-inspired hues.

About the ASICS GT-2160 “Restful Teal/Blue Teal”

The upper of the shoe is crafted from a refined mesh, accented by undulating details and overlays in varying shades of teal. Subtle reflective elements are incorporated, enhancing the shoe’s contemporary lines. Consistent with its early 2010s heritage, the GT-2160 retains GEL technology in both the forefoot and rearfoot, providing comfortable cushioning. 

Furthermore, it features a Trusstic System in the midfoot, ensuring lightweight stability. A durable rubber outsole with multi-directional lugs completes the design, offering reliable traction across diverse terrains.

Release Details

The ASICS GT-2160 “Restful Teal/Blue Teal” is anticipated to launch on 1 August, through various ASICS retailers. The price for the pair is set at JPY 16,500 (~US$111).
