D/D/D/D Great Dimension King Arc Crisis is based on Leo Akaba, the primary antagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V. In the anime, Leo is the co-creator of the ARC System and planner of the Arc Project—both of which the anime is named after, as is this card. The character’s design bears a partial resemblance to Leo in his trademark outfit; in addition, its name refers to Leo’s role in the anime after taking control of the Fusion Dimension after becoming the leader of the Duel Academy.

Since this is the cover card of its set, D/D/D/D Great Dimension King Arc Crisis has received more publicity than most of the other cards in it; this is likely to drive up demand. Its connections to Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V will also add to its appeal, especially for those who got into the TCG via that spin-off anime series. Finally, this card has a version in the Prismatic Secret Rare rarity.

This card’s English version will be out on 25 September 2025 alongside the rest of Doom of Dimensions.
