Lil Yachty has established a multifaceted presence in music and fashion, with a successful rap career, his own label Concrete Boys, and several collaborations with Nike.

The Atlanta-born artist first previewed his Nike Air Force 1 project in 2023, initially presenting what was believed to be a friends-and-family colorway. By 2025, Yachty had released two official Air Force 1 models: the first in “White/Midnight Navy” and another featuring a Y2K-inspired “Lucky Green” colorway, alongside a variety of player-exclusive (PE) versions linked to his Concrete Boys label.

Last year, Yachty showcased several Concrete Boys PE Air Force 1 pairs at Coachella, and in 2025, he has continued to offer fans detailed views of the collection. Most recently, he appeared at Summer Smash wearing a black and purple Concrete Boys AF1, in addition to an up-close look at the titular Black-Red colorway.

This particular pair, seen in the music video for “I Need Meds”, features accent colors on the “It’s Us” tongue tag, mesh sockliner, a 3D Concrete Boys logo on the lateral heel, and branding on the heel tab. The rest of the sneaker is predominantly black, with a red rubber outsole.

Beyond his Air Force 1 collaborations, Yachty has cultivated a close relationship with Nike, becoming a key figure in providing early previews of several upcoming releases. His involvement includes showcasing the Levi’s x Nike Air Max 95 Collection, multiple Cactus Plant Flea Market (CPFM) x Nike collaborations, and receiving a player-exclusive Kentucky Wildcats colorway of the Nike NOCTA Glide in 2023.

Not much is known about the Lil Yachty x Nike Us Force 1 “Black/Red” at the time of writing, but considering rollouts of supposed PEs before, there’s reason to be optimistic about this colorway’s release. Stay tuned!
