Tokyo-based retailer emmi has once again teamed up with ASICS, this time reimagining the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT. This collaboration aligns perfectly with emmi’s signature clean, wellness-focused aesthetic.

About the emmi x ASICS GEL-KINETIC FLUENT

The design of the shoe is subtly collaborative, eschewing prominent logos for a more understated approach. It features a soft white mesh, complemented by ivory leather overlays and shimmering silver accents. Faint blue outlines define the ASICS Tiger Stripes, while metallic touches on the heel and tongue lend a futuristic feel. Beneath, the chunky GEL sole is presented in a milky glacier blue, offering both visual appeal and comfortable cushioning.

Even without overt emmi branding, the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT effortlessly embodies the retailer’s calm and collected style. Its understated look allows the shoe’s design and premium materials to speak for themselves, highlighting ASICS’ technology while maintaining a stylish and wearable appeal.

Release Details

The emmi x ASICS GEL-KINETIC FLUENT has already been released in Japan via emmi’s channels and is scheduled for a global release on ASICS.com on 24 July. The pair is expected to retail for US$185.
