Pal Pad is a highly splashable card with a long and storied history within the Pokémon TCG metagame. First released as a Gen 6 promotional card as part of the Xerneas & Yveltal Card Box, a product launched in December 2013, the card has since seen many reprints—likely due to its gameplay versatility.

About Pal Pad (SM-P Promotional Cards 329/SM-P)

When played, Pal Pad allows the player to shuffle two Supporter cards from the hand into the player’s deck. This therefore gives the player an additional chance to play Supporter cards which could supply the player with exactly the card(s) needed—something which wouldn’t be able to be done if the Supporter cards in question were left in the discard pile.

Of all the versions of this card, the standout for collectors is the second of three iterations from the SM-P Promotional Cards. This particular version of Pal Pad is from the Event Organizer Trainer’s Pack which was initially distributed to Pokémon TCG tournament organizers and staff members of tournaments held in Japan in April 2019. On the right side of the card, there’s a logo with the words “EVENT ORGANIZER” to certify this card’s status as an Event Organizer promo.

There are English versions of this card; however, this specific version of Pal Pad is a Japanese-exclusive card.
