ASICS is set to release three new colorways of the GEL-Kinetic Fluent US6-S later this month. This shoe, a collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov Studio, combines a contemporary sporty aesthetic with a nostalgic retro feel and advanced technological enhancements.

About the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Kinetic Fluent US6-S

The design draws inspiration from “Insulated Grottos”, featuring layered mesh, curved leather, and distinctive lines influenced by artist Edith Dekyndt. A notable detail is the off-center pull tab on the tongue, a hallmark of the Kiko x ASICS partnership.

Departing from typical mesh constructions, the shoe incorporates a full leather toe that extends to the heel. ASICS branding is subtly integrated through TPU panels, placed over a breathable two-tone mesh that includes a gradient effect for added visual depth.

Underneath, the shoe is equipped with Scutoid GEL technology for cushioning and FF Blast Plus Eco foam, providing a bouncy and responsive experience. The TRUSSTIC support system ensures stability, making the shoe suitable for daily wear. Additionally, over 20% of the synthetic leather used in its construction is made from recycled materials.

Each of the three new colorways offers a distinct appearance, ranging from neutral tones to more vibrant options, all while maintaining the shoe’s characteristic refined and utilitarian appeal. With its fluid lines and fusion of classic and modern elements, the GEL-Kinetic Fluent effectively balances streetwear style with performance innovation.

Release Details

The three Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Kinetic Fluent US6-S colorways are poised to drop via ASICS brick-and-click stores on 25 July 2025. The pairs will retail for US$170 each.
