Nigel Sylvester and Jordan Brand’s ongoing partnership is like an ever-expanding universe, one that will subsume another Air Jordan 4. Next in a “Sail/Cinnabar” colorway, succeeding their recent “Brick by Brick” release.

About the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Sail/Cinnabar”

First seen on the runway in January, the titular pair nods subtly to the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 4s, but the retail version features refined updates and touches not present on the original show pair.

The upper is crafted from Sail leather, paired with mesh paneling for texture and breathability. Cinnabar red accents punctuate key areas, including the eyelets, heel branding, and a small Swoosh near the forefoot, giving the shoe an outstanding yet balanced presence. A cream-hued outsole adds soft contrast, anchored by a black midsole wrap.

One of the most notable features of this release is the custom “BIKE AIR” heel tab, replacing the standard Nike Air mark. The branding serves as a direct tribute to Sylvester’s BMX roots and his GO lifestyle brand.

Inside, the insoles are printed with “GO” and “Nike Air,” while the inner tongue label reads “Jordan Biking Co. 2017”, alluding to the year the partnership began taking shape.

Release Details

Purported to arrive in the summer next year, the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Sail/Cinnabar” will be released via Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers. Stay tuned!
