Pokémon TCG Buyer Stabbed Outside California GameStop While Queueing
Suspects Miguel Orellanas Flores, 49, and Isaiah Calles, 27, have since been located and detained by police.
A California man was recently stabbed outside a Bay Area GameStop while queueing to purchase Pokémon TCG items.
According to the Colma Police Department, the incident, which took place on 5 July 2025, occurred after the man confronted Miguel Orellanas Flores, 49, for attempting to cut in front of him to buy Pokémon TCG products. Orellanas Flores, alongside Isaiah Calles, 27, escalated the situation—initially verbally before Orellanas Flores allegedly struck the back of the victim’s head with a glass mason jar.
Following this, Orellanas Flores allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times with broken glass shards from the mason jar.
Both suspects have been located and detained by police; both were subsequently taken to the San Mateo County Jail. They have been charged with the following: assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury, battery with serious bodily injury, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
The victim has been reported to be in stable condition.
