The excitement that once defined rap record rollouts has all but dissipated in recent years. But Clipse—the brother duo of brothers Pusha T and No Malice—are determined to bring that enthusiasm back to the forefront.

Their latest singles, “Ace Trumpets” and “So Be It”, both produced by Pharrell Williams, have been met with praise from critics and fans alike. “So Be It” has even stirred up conversation within the hip-hop world, reigniting some friendly rivalry between Pusha T and former GOOD Music roster member Travis Scott.

In contrast to the Travis Scott–Swoosh partnership, Pusha T’s long-standing one with adidas is almost as well-documented, thanks in part to his close ties with Pharrell and his previous associations with the mercurial Ye.

This relationship appears to be entering a new phase, as Pusha T recently took to Instagram to reveal the Clipse-branded adidas Samba LT, hinting at a fresh chapter in his fashion and footwear catalog.

About the Clipse x adidas Samba LT

Clipse x adidas Samba LT

Pusha T’s history with adidas dates back to 2014. Over the years, he has released several notable collaborations, including unique takes on the EQT Guidance 93 and the adidas Ozweego, as well as a project with NBA star Damian Lillard on the adidas Dame 6.

What sets Pusha T’s footwear apart is his ability to weave his lyrical narratives into the design and color palette of each release. This storytelling approach is once again evident in the new Clipse Samba LT.

In this Clipse x adidas Samba LT, the Three Stripes and laces stand out in a crisp, cocaine white, while the rest of the upper is rendered in a warmer cream shade. Leather paneling wraps around the T-toe overlay, midfoot, eyelets, and tongue.

The tongue is adorned with Thorn branding (a motif Pusha T first introduced at Paris Fashion Week in 2023) and features an extended design that can be folded down. Clipse branding appears on the lateral collar, stamped alongside adidas text, while a white rubber midsole and outsole complete the clean, minimalist aesthetic.
