This updated version swaps the original Flyknit upper for Engineered Mesh, promising superior breathability and lightweight support—ideal for the demands of modern basketball. The shoe stays true to Kobe Bryant’s preference for a low-profile design.

The striking upper boasts a bold royal blue, contrasted by crisp white Swooshes. A black heel counter provides a subtle break in color and is adorned with Kobe’s signature. The white midsoles are speckled, adding a touch of flair while referencing the original design. On the heel tab, nine distinctive stripes pay homage to Kobe’s ninth signature sneaker.

While it foregoes the original carbon fiber plate, this Protro iteration doesn’t compromise on performance. It incorporates Nike React foam and Zoom Air cushioning for explosive energy return and enhanced court feel. The outsole maintains its signature ripple traction pattern for excellent grip, now featuring a blue Kobe sheath logo underfoot.
