Salomon and HYPEBEAST have joined forces for the “Road to the Future” Pack, a collection that reimagines the XT-Whisper sneaker through the creative lens of four leading Chinese contemporary labels: ATTEMPT, EMPTY BEHAVIOR, NULLUS, and RUIbuilt.

Each collaborator brings a distinct vision to the XT-Whisper silhouette. ATTEMPT’s EXPERIMENTALIZE explores the interplay between freedom and restraint, using attached elements and a secondary strapping system to create new spatial dynamics. The hand-dyed and sprayed finish ensures each pair features unique, irregular color variations and textures.

EMPTY BEHAVIOR’s POWERFUL transforms the XT-Whisper with a Western boot-inspired shaft, merging underground culture with utilitarian function for a look that transitions effortlessly from the trail to the city.

NULLUS’s TWOFOLD elevates the model with premium calf suede and velvet, replacing traditional mesh for a tactile, whimsical feel. The deconstructed lacing system—yellow leather cords interlaced with black-and-white reflective laces—adds dynamic movement, while layered lacing at the tongue provides subtle depth.

RUIbuilt’s INTIMATE offers a refined, performance-driven take, inspired by the Mary Jane. Two straps cross the instep, reinforced by laced webbing at the toe, adding a feminine, contemporary touch.
