Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl are unquestionably two of the biggest fan-favorite characters in the entire Yu-Gi-Oh franchise. As such, it was always to be expected that when they were both put on the same card, the card in question would go on to be a major pull. This is exactly the case with The Dark Magicians.

Just about anyone who’s into the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG will immediately understand why this card is a standout: the two characters on the card are immensly popular largely due to their major roles in the Yu-Gi-Oh anime. The card also has a version in the rarity of Prismatic Secret Rare.

This is the second time that this card has been printed in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s highest rarity at the time. The first was as part of the Quarter Century Duelist Box when it came in the now-discontinued rarity of Quarter Century Secret Rare which was created to honor the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG.

In its Prismatic Secret Rare form, a copy of The Dark Magicians (Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko TTP1-JP015) goes for 3,000 JPY (~US$24).
