Prior to the release of Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko, the only iteration of a Contrast HERO Chaos card was released over a decade prior, as part of Structure Deck: HERO’s Strike in 2014. Now, it hasn’t just returned—it’s done so with a Prismatic Secret Rare version.

About Contrast HERO Chaos (Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko TTP1-JP042)

The fact that Contrast HERO Chaos has a version in Prismatic Secret Rare, the highest rarity in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, is the main factor behind its value. In addition, the card was one of the cover cards of Structure Deck: HERO’s Strike which was based on Yu-Gi-Oh anime spin-off series Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V. As such, those who got into the TCG via Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V will probably be interested in this card as well.

Contrast HERO Chaos can also be regarded as a counterpart of Light and Darkness Dragon. In addition to the similar color schemes of the characters depicted, both cards have abilities that prevent opposing cards from activating. They’re both also treated as Light and Dark monster cards simultaneously.
