The vast majority of the Masked HERO cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG were originally taken from the Yu-Gi-Oh GX manga. However, with the release of Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko, there are now two Masked HERO cards featuring a TCG-original character. One of those two cards is Masked HERO Furnace.

About Masked HERO Furnace (Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko TTP1-JP025)

Due to its status as one of the first two TCG-original Masked HERO cards, Masked HERO Furnace—alongside its upgraded Fusion form Masked HERO Atomic—holds a unique place within the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG; there’s certainly a possibility that this will increase the card’s appeal. In addition, Masked HERO Furnace is one of the first two Main Deck Masked HERO monster cards alongside Masked HERO Dusk Crow.

This is among the cards in Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko which has a Prismatic Secret Rare version. This card’s Yu-Gi-Oh TCG debut also raises the possibility that Masked HERO Inferno will also receive a real-life version soon. Masked HERO Inferno, like Masked HERO Furnace, is a Masked HERO monster card with the Fire attribute.
