In 2025, the adidas Superstar continues to dominate the sneaker scene with a string of high-profile collaborations, and now Japanese lifestyle brand BEAMS steps back into the spotlight with a fresh take on the Superstar 2—marking their first exclusive since 2014.

This latest release reinterprets the classic silhouette with BEAMS’ signature flair, elevating the shell toe, the shoe’s most iconic feature, by boldly embossing the brand’s name in a matching tone. The font, which widens toward the front, adds a dynamic and impactful visual twist that balances boldness with refined design.

Further enhancing the premium feel, the tongue showcases both the adidas Originals logo and the BEAMS logo in a striking gold finish, a subtle yet luxurious detail that highlights the collaboration’s exclusivity.

Release Details

Priced at 22,000 JPY (~US$153), this special edition will be available first at BEAMS Harajuku and select stores starting 4 July at 6PM (JST), followed by a wider release on BEAMS’ official online store from 5 July.
