Jordan Brand is commemorating four decades of Air Jordan with the introduction of a new silhouette, the Air Jordan 40. This new model will launch in three distinct colorways, with the “Dusty Rose” iteration poised for a September 2025 release.

About the Air Jordan 40 “Dusty Rose”

The “Dusty Rose” Jordan 40 presents a subdued yet high-performance aesthetic. It incorporates a sophisticated blend of patent and pebbled leather in varying shades of pink, contributing to its fresh and premium appeal. Contrasting black accents on the laces and Jumpman logo provide a subtle visual break from the softer tones.

Beyond its gentle color palette, this sneaker incorporates serious technological advancements. For the first time, Jordan Brand is integrating a double-stacked Zoom Strobel and ZoomX foam cushioning system. This combination is designed to deliver elite cushioning for both athletic performance and everyday wear.

The design also includes notable references to classic Air Jordan models. Nike Air branding on the heel pays homage to the Air Jordan 3 and 4, while the tongue design draws inspiration from the Air Jordan 5, subtly honoring iconic shoes from Jordan’s storied history.

Release Details

The Air Jordan 40 “Dusty Rose” is scheduled to release on 20 September, with a retail price of US$205. It will be available at Jordan Brand retailers and on Nike.com.
