As such, it’s particularly fitting that the “Bred” colorway of the model, a nod to Michael Jordan’s iconic look, was revealed by Cooke.

Given Cooke’s impressive history with Jordan Brand, which includes collaborations on Travis Scott shoes and his involvement in Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” collection, his reveal carries significant weight. This “Bred” version of the GT Future showcases a sleek, glossy red exterior, complemented by black accents on the tongue, lining, outsole, and Swoosh logos, creating a classic and enduring aesthetic.

While the GT Future is designed as a modern performance basketball shoe, Nike’s unique marketing strategy suggests the brand sees its potential beyond the court, envisioning it as a lifestyle and streetwear staple. Its distinctive look also evokes the Nike Foamposite line, despite the GT Future not utilizing Foamposite material itself.
