Nike is expanding its basketball footwear lineup with the S.T. Flare, a model initially launched as a China-exclusive designed specifically for outdoor courts. As the silhouette gains momentum internationally, Nike is preparing two new colorways that adopt an Air Yeezy-esque aesthetic.

About the Nike ST Flare

The upcoming pairs include a black-based version featuring aged midsoles and crimson liners, paired with a cream upper iteration accented by charcoal midsoles and matching red details. Both colorways incorporate gold-tipped eyestays.

While the S.T. Flare’s low-profile silhouette and sculpted sole recall elements of past Yeezy basketball models, the shoe prioritizes performance.

The shoes are engineered for durability with a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit, reinforced knit uppers, and an outsole tread pattern optimized for traction on rugged outdoor surfaces. The shoe’s XDR rubber outsole, featuring a macro herringbone pattern, enhances grip for quick cuts and stops.

Underfoot, Cushlon 3.0 foam and the forefoot Zoom Air unit deliver responsive cushioning. At the same time, Flywire cables and a lateral guardrail provide adaptive midfoot support and ankle stability, addressing the demands of outdoor play.

Release Details

Although currently confirmed only for select overseas markets, the Swoosh’s introduction of new colorways does suggest that they may eventually broaden the ST Flare’s availability beyond Asia. For now, the titular pairs are expected to launch this Fall 2025, with a retail price set at US$125. Stay tuned for a firm release date!
