[Pokémon TCG] Spikemuth Gym (ex Starter Set Marnie’s Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex [SVOM] 019/019) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Too bad this wasn't released in Gen 8—then it could've had a lore-accurate anti-VMAX effect.

Spikemuth Gym, the Stadium card from ex Starter Set Marnie’s Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex [SVOM], is the most important setup card in the Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex deck. It’s a card which, unless the player is involved in a mirror matchup, has an ostensible benefit to both players—but one from which the opponent can’t benefit.
About Spikemuth Gym (ex Starter Set Marnie’s Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex [SVOM] 019/019)
For as long as Spikemuth Gym is in play, each player is allowed to select a Marnie’s Pokémon card and put it in hand before shuffling the deck once per turn. Since the card’s effect is tied to Marnie’s Pokémon, only Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex deck users are able to take advantage of it. As such, bringing out this card early in any non-mirror matchup can greatly help the player with getting the jump on the opponent.
This is a card almost entirely known for its gameplay utility. It’s not a card which would hold any particular interest to collectors as it has neither the rarity nor a Pokémon or human character which would elevate the card in that regard.
