Another COMME des GARÇONS x Vans Authentic collaboration is set to return, bringing a refreshed yet faithful take on the 2018 original.

About the CDG x Vans Authentic

Keeping the hallmark CDG monogram, white canvas upper, and the classic vulcanized sole, the shoe preserves the elements that established the original’s appeal. One notable update is the replacement of the Vans Vault branding with the OTW by Vans logo on the insoles (marking Vans’ transition to the OTW line), with the rubberized CDG logo remaining prominently placed on the toe.

This iteration is well-integrated into the COMME des GARÇONS Basics collection, emphasizing timeless design without unnecessary alterations. The relaunch campaign, shot by photographer Atuki Otomone in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, pairs the sneaker with CDG’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

Release Details

The CDG x Vans Authentic reissue will be available exclusively on the COMME des GARÇONS website starting 13 June 2025, with no raffle or waiting room involved.
