The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “UNC” has officially stepped into the spotlight, worn by none other than Hiroshi Fujiwara, the legendary figure in streetwear and sneaker culture.

This unreleased gem channels the very essence of 1985—the year the Air Jordan 1 first made its historic debut—while paying homage to Michael Jordan’s collegiate roots at the University of North Carolina with its iconic Dark Powder Blue and White colorway.

Unlike the more familiar Chicago Bulls-inspired colorways, the “UNC” edition draws directly from MJ’s alma mater’s college colors, a nod that has inspired countless retros over the decades. This particular model revives the classic silhouette with painstaking attention to detail, faithfully replicating the original construction and materials from the ‘85 era.

The leather mudguard, eyestays, collar, heel, and Swoosh are all dressed in that signature powder blue, contrasted by crisp white on the toe box, tongue, midfoot panel, and midsole.
