The Master Ball Mirror version of the Tynamo card from Black Bolt [SV11B], half of a newly-released Pokémon TCG dual set, has turned out to be one of its most sought-after among its Master Ball Mirror cards. Despite not being an obvious fan favorite, there’s nevertheless a reasonable amount of demand for this card.

About Tynamo Master Ball Mirror (Black Bolt [SV11B] 033/086)

At first glance, this card depicting the EleFish Pokémon might not seem particularly remarkable. However, the fact that this is a Master Ball Mirror card inherently elevates its value. This is just the third time that a set has included this rarer holofoil version following Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] and Terastal Festival ex [SV8a]; as such, there would always have been interest in the card for that reason alone.

In the Pokémon video games, Tynamo is one of the very few Pokémon which isn’t weak to attacks of any type. What would otherwise be its only weakness—Ground—is cancelled out by Levitate, its Ability in the video games (though this isn’t present in the TCG). Although this still doesn’t make it anything near a viable pick in the video games, it’s nonetheless an interesting factoid which potential buyers of this card might recall; it could also draw in the fans who are more well-versed with the finer mechanics of the video games.

Release Details

This card’s English version will be launched alongside the rest of Black Bolt [BLK] on 18 July 2025.

A copy of a Tynamo Master Ball Mirror (Black Bolt [SV11B] 033/086) card sells for 2,200 JPY (~US$15).
