[Pokémon TCG] Frillish Master Ball Mirror (White Flare [SV11W] 041/086) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
"This is getting out of hand—now there are two of them!"

Of all the Master Ball Mirror versions of cards from Black Bolt [SV11B] and White Flare [SV11W], it may seem somewhat surprising that the standout among them is the Frillish Master Ball Mirror card from White Flare [SV11W]. That being said, there are nonetheless clear reasons as to why this is so.
About Frillish Master Ball Mirror (White Flare [SV11W] 041/086)
Frillish immediately drew the attention of many players due to Oceanic Shadow, its Item-locking attack. In the current metagame, Item-locking is at an all-time high thanks to the near-ubiquitous Budew card from Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] which has almost single-handedly warped the entire metagame around it. While not quite as splashable, Frillish is expected to fill a similar niche in the decks which do include it.
This card’s appeal to collectors stems from its status as a Master Ball Mirror card which can clearly be seen via the Master Ball prints that cover the lower half of the card. It must be admitted that the illustration itself isn’t particularly striking—but with Master Ball Mirror cards, the prestige afforded by the much rarer special holofoil print is what carries the bulk of the value; such is the case here too.
