[ONE PIECE Card Game] Shirahoshi (Monkey D. Luffy [ST-08] ST08-006) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Though impacted by a recent card ban, this card nevertheless remains a viable pick for Black/Yellow Luffy deck players.

Often included in Black/Yellow Luffy decks, the Shirahoshi card originally from the Monkey D. Luffy Starter Deck [ST-08] has been used alongside other cost-reducing cards to devastating effect. While its status in the ONE PIECE Card Game metagame has experienced a slight decline due to a related card ban, this card has nevertheless retained a presence in tournament decks.
About Shirahoshi (Monkey D. Luffy [ST-08] ST08-006)
When played, Shirahoshi enables the player to reduce an opposing Character card’s cost by 4 during that turn. Shirahoshi was originally usually paired with Gecko Moria from Wings of the Captain [OP-06] and Monkey D. Luffy from 500 Years in the Future [OP-07]; this combination could potentially set up KO’s on opposing Character cards with costs as high as 8. However, since the Moria card’s ban, Shirahoshi’s gameplay impact has been somewhat blunted; despite this, it remains a viable pick within the Black/Yellow Luffy deck.
With a rarity of Common (C), this isn’t a card which would particularly be sought out by collectors. That being said, the fact that it depicts a female character—and one of the more popular ones among the fandom at that—elevates its value beyond the majority of cards with the same rarity.
