Stone Island and New Balance are collaborating once more, this time venturing into the skateboarding scene with a refreshed version of the New Balance Numeric 272. This partnership merges Stone Island’s nautical-themed Marina line with New Balance’s skate division.

About the Stone Island Marina x New Balance Numeric 272

This iteration of the Numeric 272 is a significant upgrade from a standard skate shoe. Stone Island Marina has enhanced the model with a split upper, featuring gray suede on the lower section and a crisp white textile on the upper. 

A gray “N” logo is visible on the outer side, while the inner side incorporates ventilation eyelets for improved breathability. The design is completed with an off-white vulcanized sole. Subtle Stone Island Marina branding can be found on the tongue, and both brands’ logos are present in blue on the heel.

Release Details

An official release date for the Stone Island Marina x New Balance Numeric 272 is still pending, though both brands have indicated that more information will be released soon. The sneakers are expected to be available through Stone Island, New Balance, and select retailers.

It is anticipated that this model will retail at a higher price point than the standard US$75 for the Numeric 272. Further details and a complete look at the sneaker are expected to follow.
