First printed in Paramount War [OP-02], this Tsuru card peaked among collectors when it was released as part of the Championship 2023 Event Pack. Even prior to that, however, it was already a top pick among players as it was a staple in many black decks.

About Tsuru (Paramount War [OP-02] OP02-106)

When played, Tsuru allows the player to reduce an opposing Character’s cost by 2 during that turn. Coupled with its status as a 2000 counter, Tsuru is a splashable addition that fits well into a wide range of black decks including the Black Lucci, Black Smoker, and Black Moria decks.

The version of this card which is most prized by collectors is, as mentioned, the card from the Championship 2023 Event Pack. Only available to participants at certain events outside Japan and Asia-Pacific during the 2023-24 ONE PIECE Card Game tournament season, this card features the Championship 2023 logo on its right side as evidence of this status.

Release Details

This card does have a Japanese version; however, the Championship 2023 Event Pack version is an English-exclusive card.

A copy of a Tsuru (Paramount War [OP-02] OP02-106) card from the Championship 2023 Event Pack sells for 2,010 JPY (~US$14).
