The Kuzan card originally from Paramount War [OP-02] is a relatively common inclusion in several black decks in the current ONE PIECE Card Game metagame. This is due to the fact that the card serves as a crucial cost reduction card in those decks; in addition, a specific version of this card has been known to carry an enormous price tag.

About Kuzan (Paramount War [OP-02] OP02-096)

When attacking with Kuzan, the player also has the opportunity to reduce an opposing Character card’s cost by 4. The card also serves as a draw engine by allowing the player to draw an additional card when it’s played. Ideally, this card is to be played in the early game.

By far the most sought-after of all the versions of this Super Rare Parallel (SR-P) card and one of the most expensive ONE PIECE Card Game cards ever is the Championship Prize version awarded at selected tournaments during the 2023-24 ONE PIECE Card Game tournament season. The “Championship 2023” logo can clearly be seen on the right side of the card; in addition, the card’s outer border is black with gold accents to emphasize this card’s status as a tournament prize card.

Release Details

Although this card has been released in English, the Championship Prize iteration is a Japanese-exclusive card.

A copy of the Championship Prize version of the Kuzan (Paramount War [OP-02] OP02-096) card of SR-P rarity sells for the massive price of 169,390 JPY (~US$1,176)!
