Formed in 2018 by Alex Sandler and Alex Leon, Hermanos Koumori has outgrown its streetwear roots into a performance-driven brand recognized within and beyond Mexico’s running scene. Its ascension reflects a notable shift in street culture, where the lines between fashion and function continue to blur, and running apparel is no longer confined to the track.

Now, Hermanos Koumori forays into the footwear landscape, producing a two-pack of adidas Ultraboost 5 colorways. This release succeeds prior apparel collaborations between the two brands and signals a new chapter for the Mexico City-based label.

About the Hermanos Koumori x adidas Ultraboost 5 Pack

The Hermanos Koumori x adidas Ultraboost 5 pack features two colorways: Wonder Aluminum and Tent Green. Both pairs are engineered for performance, boasting a reconstructed upper with no-sew overlays for enhanced durability and protection during outdoor runs.

The ripstop nylon, used as the base material, is paired with fused TPU overlays that feature two distinct colors and patterns on the upper. Quicklace systems with adidas-branded lacelocks allow for easy, on-the-go adjustments.

The midfoot sports adidas’ hallmark Three Stripes, while Ultraboost text appears on the lateral heel counter. Hermanos Koumori’s presence is felt through its logo on the lateral toe and the phrases “Scispiritual Engineering” and “run with the mind” on the lateral and medial sides—nods to the brand’s philosophy that running is as much about mental clarity as physical movement.

Underfoot, the pairs are equipped with a chunky Lightboost-cushioned midsole and a rubber outsole designed for zonal traction.

Release Details

The Hermanos Koumori x adidas Ultraboost 5 Pack is scheduled to launch on 17 June 2025, via adidas, Hermanos Koumori, and select retailers both online and in-store. Offered in men’s sizing, each pair will retail for US$190.
