CASIO’s legendary G-SHOCK brand pushes the boundaries of shock resistance once again with the new GA-V01, a watch that redefines resilience through innovative design and cutting-edge technology. This timepiece is a true testament to G-SHOCK’s “Never Give Up” spirit, originally championed by founder Kikuo Ibe.

A Tribute to Endurance and Innovation

The GA-V01 stands out with its integrated bezel and band, forming a seamless, shock-absorbing shell. Its aggressive silhouette features spiked feet, bumper-style indexes, and chunky side buttons, creating a battle-ready look that’s as functional as it is futuristic.

At its core is the revolutionary Shock Release Hand mechanism: unlike traditional fixed hands, the minute hand is magnetically secured, allowing it to absorb and dissipate shocks by temporarily shifting position before realigning itself. This design enhances durability and enables larger, more striking hands.

The watch’s layered metallic dial with openwork details and full-screen LCD combines analog and digital displays in a striking butterfly-shaped layout. Exposed hour markers and circular magnetic hands contribute to its avant-garde, tech-inspired aesthetic, while a Super Illuminator double LED light ensures excellent readability in any lighting condition, day or night.

Powered by a high-capacity battery with a 10-year lifespan, the GA-V01 offers long-lasting performance alongside 200-meter water resistance and essential functions like world time, stopwatch, countdown timer, and five alarms.

Release Details
